Fair Trader Scheme

Applefields Ltd are a member of Medway Council Trading Standards Fair Trader Scheme, and also are registered with the Environment Agency for waste disposal.

The Fair Trader Scheme was set up by Medway Councils Trading Standards Department, as an initiative to improve business standards and increase customer confidence in using members of the scheme. Our business has been checked regulary by Trading Standards to ensure that we comply with a code of conduct. As a member of this scheme you can be assured that we:

. Comply with the law
. Have contract terms which are fair, in plain English and clearly legible.
. Have clear pricing and provide information about payment methods.
. Do not carry out additional works or change agreed works without the customers permission.
. Provide invoices and warranties.
. Dispose of waste in an appropriate manner.
. Operate an effective customer complaints procedure should it be required.
